PARFIT
PARFIT is a tool for the parametrization of volcanic ash deposits.
CODE VERSIONS
  • PARFIT 2.3.1 (F90 version. Release May 2022)
    • Characteristics Written in FORTRAN-90.
    • Package includes PARFIT-2.3.1 F90 source code, user manual and examples.
    • Requirements: a Fortran compiler. Makefile is provided only for UNIX, LINUX, and MAC X OS.

  • PARFIT 2.1 (F90 version. Release Feb 2014).
    • Characteristics: Written in FORTRAN90. Code to estimate volcanic eruption parameters starting from field data (deposit thickness, granulometry) by solving an inverse problem (based on Hazmap approach).
    • Package: includes Parfit 2.1 F90 source code.
    • Requirements: a F90 compiler. Makefile is provided only for UNIX, LINUX, and MAC X OS.
